LITURGICAL READINGS
ADORE: For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants. They shall spring up among the grass like willows by flowing streams. This one will say, ‘I am the LORD’s,’ another will call on the name of Jacob, and another will write on his hand, ‘The LORD’s,’and name himself by the name of Israel.”—Isaiah 44.3-5
ADMIT: And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual. The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.—1 Corinthians 2.13-14
ASSURE: But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.—Romans 8.10-11
ACTIVATE: For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God…And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.—Romans 8.18-19, 23

BIG IDEA: FAITH STARTS AND SUSTAINS LASTING CHANGE
MAIN POINTS:
WHAT OF CHANGE—GALATIANS 3.1
HOW OF CHANGE—GALATIANS 3.2
WHO OF CHANGE—GALATIANS 3.3-5
QUOTES:
“This does not mean that Paul refused to talk about anything except the crucifixion of Jesus…But it does mean that everything Paul did proclaim was grounded in the cross of Christ…As followers of Christ, we should be no different today.”—Harmon, p. 130
“Today’s church is awash in books and seminars that promise the key to the Christian life is found in three keys, five steps, or seven principles. And while there may be helpful elements of such books, they can easily give the impression that ongoing faith in Christ and walking in the power of the Spirit are insufficient.”—Harmon, p. 136
